SUMMARY
GF from G on decs. 6mm rain Tue, 1mm Wed. GStick 06:30am.

Inner Course in use with Stalls Centre.

18DegC. Stiff+ Westerly Wind = 3/4 Headwind from Left.

Another baffling HYDK race in Hf-Fin & pace terms. LLara allowed to get easy lead on rail with stacked field bhd her and sev pulling with winner worst. LLara poss upped pace before 2F out and many scrubbed along by-2f. But then field fell apart bhd LL and last 3 at halfway ended up around LL at finish. Hot Coffee an odd neck but always travelling best despite pulling and cmf clear by-0.5f and not stopping. other pair in 3rd-4th just plugging on through faders. Could be read as LL running quite well after going too hard? Time notably quicker than following small field males' race but both seem very slow. Headwind breaking the field up?

Lady Lara looks soild Sz and believable OR80s on VT pics and could have run well against pace into headwind. HCoffee DpF & odd neck but seems very str mover and rangyF & that poss reason. Flycatcher a big grey lump & a bit Inx po & swc Cent to do it. Souville just Mdm & neat and po up rail as opened up.

See notes of Halfway split times race 267.
