Stalls Far Side.

17DegC. Light to Medium Westerly Wind = Close to Direct Headwind HS.

Mixed pace but a fast time with rare faster going and the rail fully in. LVal break best wide but SJL brok ok on RL and held him off from XF with LV 0.5L lead BS until bed when bot he & SJL started runnin freelt and SJL pulled to lead mid bend. Note that LV ran 1Wd throughout and always on outside of SJL so ran further. 0.5L bet them BS, just over 0.5L after lead swapped and into HS, and SJL beat LV by a Nk. Longton a bit Inx overall and a slow start & 2L+ back+0.5f but revovered to nd & 1.75L back into Str & one rail & beaten 2.5L. So little relative change overall.

3 sim looking horses with LV prob a bit bgr than SJL & Longton a bit shorter but ok len & bld. SJL Tv btr than SJL-2f+ took lead bet -2f to -1f & poss a Nk up at most. But a bit HeadUp & poss green at times last 1F & worried out of it by hard ridden & hard trying SJL. Longton lost some ground as pace wound & efforts made but holding the gap, at least, at the line behind the battling pair.
