SUMMARY
GF from GFG on Decs. Watering but no details given. GStick 06:45.

Hot weather previous 2 weeks broke over Weekend & Mon in Southern & Central England incl Heavy Rain & Thunderstorms from late pm. Both meetings on the Day (this + FFOS) seemed to be outside the Thunderstorm area so untypically bland going reports. Suspect a wide range of other courses would be reporting GS or softer. SWLT also racing on day reporting G going after 7.4mm rain overnight and forecast bet 8-13mm during day as heavy showers. SWLT reported 52 mm of total watering from July 16th through to Sat before the rain came.

21DegC. Wind variable as showers due before racing. BBC forecast suggest Wind Dir. will bounce bet SE & NE during afternoon then from South in late pm. Light to Medium Wind, 1/2+ tailwind Whatever the precise direction.

Mixed Pace. Nothing wanting to lead early on so Jk on Cheekpieced DRover nggld that one to lead and set a slower pace. But DR increased pace later on bend and into str and this left Ofeila SAdf with that Jk trying to dawdle inactively at back. Hanagan at EDIN to ride Damaah for retainer which perhaps explains the pointless SP shortening. Damaah broke well but Hanagan always looking to take back and 2Wd to bnd and H-2. This proved deadly because Damaah already hanging Left around bend and then QHgL just as leader upped pace to Str which left Damaah adrift and floundering in cent track. Too Inx to really resp. Just a smaller mdm one in a time period wehere trnr often starts mod-ave ones (ab) and poor value. Punt at 10/3 just guesswork.

DR fully ridden and OR60s somewhere which gives a good guideline to form. BEHoney strong if shorter and took time to fully get going and had to be rousted fully to get by ncr Gallic Breeze late on. BEH fresume OR76+.

QuinnJJ a lot of 2yos run so far but few solid debuts and seems likely the ones he has run mostly limited. GBreeze a solidly built, deep, medium one and raced professionally FTO. Presume OR75+.

DRover smallest in field with Ofelia a bit bulkier if not much bgr. Damaah prob middle and ord type and 1st two plain stronger even without the steering issues.
