G from GGF on decs. 12mm rain Tues, 7mm Thu am. GStick 11:30am 24DegC. Light SW Wind = Mostly X-Wind From Right. Stalls Far Side. Mixed pace with field initially drifting Cent-Stds with a lot of pulling and FFH with nothing wanting to lead. Jk on Ice Slice took decision to lead and took the field back over to race on the Far Rail. Also incrased the pace so that by Hf there was a Lo4 to a pressing pace and the other 4 under presuure. Headlong one of worst erl pullers. Penny Six the worst puller erl and jk ended up in a fight and forgot about race position and just trying to get some control. Ended up with the filly unbal. When he did haul her back a bit it was as the field collapsed back onto FrRL and PSix shuffled to back, Jk then seemed to want to get active and SwcR out the Centre by Hf and pushing her to make an effort into stiff pace. Brief effort in Centre track before fading. |
