G by race time. Rain started 15:35 & 3mm by 16:55pm & still raining. F by 16:15 with rain slower to devlop & move north than forecast. FGF from GFF on decs. GStick 16:15pm. Heavy Rain and Storms due to work up through country from south coast during the Day. GStick unlikely to be any use and FGF just for academic interest in early am. Rail Out by "up to 12ft" on Far Rail. Medium to Light NW Wind = Half Headwind from Right Hughes on GSpirit. O'NeillD on ATGoldrush & DwyerM on JRoyal for Hannon. Raining, rail out and feild racing Centre of what track left by Rail Out last 2F+. Likeable set of Bigger ones in first 4 home with HVol prob the Tallest and certainly the most professional & most efficient moving here. Good effort by ATGoldrush to chase him despite being Inx & taking time to wise up. Solid to Gd effort by GSpirit before fading last 0.5f. Jersey Royal another solid looking one and at least mdm & gd build. But, disapp on FTO and give a "Bad Horse" ride here. Bullied along from the start and when this got him to the lead after 1.5F the Jk got the whip out to make sure he carried on. Lost the lead backing off from the path at Hf and vaguely jumping (too idle perhaps to even do that fully). Did respond with other three last 2f until fading. Ok OR75+ if att improves. LYWork looking smaller & outgunned against front 4 & puts quality of LTO in perspective. |
