Morning note = The track has been worked down to 3 1/2 but will be re-instated to Standard for racing. -2Deg overnight & max of 3Deg in day & down to 1Deg for race. Stiff ENE Wind = 3/4 Tailwind from Left back straight, 3/4 Headwind from R in Home straight. Weak race on profile with MSTyx at £14k & rest totalling £9k. Race played out like when Moore used to win first seller at WTON with a runner STO after a DONC debut. OLover small & compact & prob barely OR50 in real terms but competent here after a bit green, free FTO. Assisted by a flat track aft LNGA. OL did similar time to Dijarvo last year when Moore's Queen Of The Hop was 2.75L 2nd on FTO. QOTH ended season a mdn off OR51 having been OR60s after erl placed efforts. Seems likely OLover similar & got lucky here with an empty race. MStyx small & underpowered despite relative sales price and prob out erl to try to win 'something'. Confirmed downside view from her Gallops VT & picture. Lost ground to bend by being held back to drop in & took time to fine a gap. Ok effort in str & probs OR50s long term & OR60s erl but not one to follow although can win a weak race. SSuperman seller entered next Mon before race (Along with the 2 x NRSs in WTS & GT). Turner has only got FTO wins with his better types mostly in recent years. Said in a pre Brocklesby interview that El Dugue was green but suggested this one would be readier. But this one also green and hanging on bend and got tired in the last 1F. A bit of bld over OLver but an odd, short leg, shape & seller fodder & No Interest. LDefender £3k & looked clueless & a bit of bld +ve. Seems to run with held up in fixed position. Able to track pace until it was upped on bend and then unable to go with it. Seem to expire too quickly in str as if a problem = poss breathing?. Moderate OR60s ab anyway. FGaze put up by Moore as 'One to Follow' to Lovetheraces website before the season started. Bigger then OLvr & fit enough but clueless in race. Ought to rate higher than OLve overall and, like here, should improve for nous STO so should win something early if he finds the right set-up.
