SUMMARY

GS by race time with 12mm of rain by 12:30pm. GGS by 10:00am after 5mm of Rain. G from GGF at 07:15am but rain expected. GStick 10:00am, but till some rain forecast.

17DegC. Stiff SSW Wind = Close to Half Headwind from Left.

Strong pace with Meritocracy leading Reroute & Brown Sugar Cent-Stds. Dobbs said BSugar didn't handle undulations first 2F so wasn't pulling as at NMKJ LTO. On Stds' RL MajAlex with SKing outside her and that pair level with Merit'cy. Pace too strong & Merit'y & MAlex well beaten.

SKing persisted better and on group of leaders near finish. Ambiance in 2R bhd MAlex on rail and made fwd move-1f+ & led but race turning inside out by line and 1st two home were well back after 2f not handling hills (BSugar) & held up and then outpaced with Anticipated. Latter finishing strongly through open rail at line but BSugar had got enough of a jump to hang on.
