GS from GGF on Decs. GStick 09:00am.

19DegC. Medium to Stiff SW Wind = 3/4+ Headwind from Left HS.

Field racing tight to Stands Rail to past halfway. Then Valonia went clear having broken the other prominent runners while running the rail. But hanging Right to the line and closer to the Far Rail by the finish but always clear. But this spread the field out all across the track and some struggling to find alleys to Close through as the pace broke up. Valonia looks Group Qual but needs to stop the hanging which almost looked 'built in' as if part of rotational part of how she gallops. Straighten her out and prob whoosh.

Coral Mist last ins-2f and Jk thnking about moving further off rail to make an effort. But got going late enough to see whole field hanging right and a wide gap back on the Stands' rail. Out of Picture and prob not much forward of last-1f. Prob 6th ins-0.5f and looked like a storming finish but prob a fair bit of 'effect' in that as going past horses fading back and those with life left blocked.

Would be more interested in Valen than CMist STO. She dropped to last and then XB so on the rail at Hf, but Tv so well that jk started to make fwd move before CMist and started moving outwards. Which meant she got involved in a traffic jam or would have placed. Work Vid of her on Bells' website shows her 'winning' a work gallop recently with Gender Agenda (well back) and an unraced filly. Not an all-out gallop but Valen doing the work most cmf and showed the same unstressed cmf mvmnt through race here.
