G from GGF on decs. No note of watering but says "Patchy light rain on Friday becoming more persistent during the afternoon & breezy (2-3mm)." GStick from 06:45am.

10DegC. Stiff SSW Wind = Slight Headwind from Left.

Pace looked too strong with pressing Lo4 after 1.5f. Whole field walking at finish and a lot of tired rolling around in last 1F incl from winner. But, Racing next to RL looked a real Adv with W'sea on it in lead of Lo4 & last to buckle AND Tanseeb 2.5L back at Hf & dv along but made ground by XB -2f from Lane 3-4 to rail & make some progress there thru fdrs. Muspelheim drawn widest and got a slow break then took a bit of time to pick up and the others gone for 3-4L before he started and always chasing the strong pace and racing widest of rail.
