Stevens in 213 wrt Fisher Lane = notes he would have been an early runner but for a setback. Says he doesn't know the level of ability but then goes on & on about his attitude & what a lovely horse he is. As a Rule-of-Thumb usually a -ve when trainer starts majoring on 'what a pleasure' the horse is to train rather than how big & fast he is. Yearling pic on website makes FLane look tiny (sire typ?). A real -ve.

Beckett in 213 seems to suggest Tea Leaf another one bought to be an early runner at 5f but had sore shins & delayed until now & 6f. In general the Bushrangers have not proved as precocious as people expected.
