SUMMARY
 GF from GGF on Decs. 3mm of Watering Overnight. GStick 07:30 & 2-3 notches slower than the previous day despite no rain. How much of the watering efect will be gone by race time? 7.6 Centre & FrSd, 7.5 StdsSd (7.8 on Wed)

21DegC. Light Southerly Wind = Close to Direct Tailwind.

Hannon Jks = Hughes (TStrike) & Moore (FRanger). Ryan jks = Makin (SKing), Callan (TTClouds), Mulrennan (YRelish), NortonF (MPost), SousaSD (Oasis Town).

TDE jks = Fentiman (VQuest), Allan (Dutch Breeze). Fahey jks = Hanagan (Rufford), Hamilton (FClarets)

Haggas jks = JonesL (Haikbidiac), Buick (Nezar= owner link?).

Field raced wide spread and in 2 of 3 Groups. Four over on FrSd led by Green Door who was well clear of his side at Hf and looked 1.5L clear of whole field. Haikbidiac ran straight down the Stands' Rail on his own and clear of his side & jk claimed he was ahead overall which looked incorrect. Suspect he didn't see Green Door who was clear of everything & belting along. As with previous day going hard in front not a disadv & pace held up. Even Green Door who had gone 3/4 Berserk on his side only overhauled by Thunder Strike into the last 1f.

Rest of field racing in spread StdsSd to around Centre (could say there was a CentGrp to Hf) and as they drifted more left later in race left Haikbidiac alone on his side as well as clear.

May Novice race at YORK has now produced the winners of the Windsor Castle, Supersprint & this race. Why is Steventon Star regressing?

Sectional Times interesting it that they showed that Haikbidiac ran 1st 2f fastest incl a 10.1? 2nd 1f to a 0.02s slower one by GDoor. But GDoor then ran 3rd 1f in 10.5s to open a clear gap in overall lead. Haikbidiac then slowing each 1f to the finish and a 12.5s+ last 1f. GDoor ran a last 1f of above 14s. But message that this 6f race won in same manner as yesterday in the Nursery. Pace held up despite slowing through last 4f but making it hard for a horse to sit near enough through Hf to 'Close' to compete to win. The first 2f in this race run 0.95s faster than the following Lowther & by halfway the leader in the Lowther would have been 1.33s behind Green Door if in this race and back end of Midfield. Two very different Power Output tests.

Interesting to look at sectionals below & wonder if some of Prominent faders go well NTO in fast 5f? Tobougg Happy unable to raise an effort but pluggin back at finish = improve for more held up 6f+? etc.
