17DegC. Stiff+ WSW Wind = Mostly X-Wind from Left. Slight Tailwind.

Stiff pace in fast Conds & a fast time. Omanome & PPie XF to form LdgPr on rail and set a pace on the stiff side of usable. PPie persisted well off the pace. Bandolier racing on outside with clear run and A5 (5lbs for free in simple race like this & note that in overal ratings).

As LdgPr stalled and folded thru last 1f they presented a road block on rail for others to get by. Bandolier racing settled on outside able to go thru to lead with max efficiency. Other placed horses found problems and both set of connections prob saying they should have won. Supa U a solid debut in softer going but has run poorly since but has pulled way too hard both times. OR looked usable. Pick up a little slowly after an ok break near the rail then held back to race on rail well back. Equipped with Hdgr and mostly raced settled. TvOk-2f but closing up near rail. Had to switch out bet -1.5f to -1f and ended up racing Cent and not looking that organised when switching (lost the TvOk). prob still 5th & -2L towards last 0.5f but organised again and staying on as others fading. Still not the finished article but making his own probs and could have beaten Bandolier cmf if he were more point-n-shoot.

Les Gar Gan tracking LdgPr on RL at Hf and close up bhd them. WHich as they folded meant he had to SwcR in instalments to try to find a gap to go fwd & chalg. Jk had a lengthy look (-1.5f+ to ins-1f) at gap bet LdgPr, then had to slow a bit to go back to SwcR bhd winners. Took some time to get going but going forward late but then found himself sqzd out bet Bandolier and Supa U getting going and finishing now racing wide in Cent. Other pair dropping off solid pace soon after-2f and out of race.
