GS from GGF on Decs. 4mm Rain Weds, 2mm overnight to race day. GStick 08:30am. Stalls Stands' Side. 15DegC. Light to Medium NW Wind = 1/4 Headwind from Right. Hetta Stevens interviewed after race and said that Green Door had been flat out in his box [i.e. Very Tired] for two days after his run at York. In that race Spencer tried to break the 3.5f juvenile World Record on him in a bizarre ride (to add to the pile Spencer has produced over the years (but still has endless Wealthy Patrons swooning over 'The Boy Prince'). Spencer riding Wind Fire here so beaten by Crowley on Green Door. Crowley holding up GDoor comfortably beind an average pace and would add him to Dobbs, etc, as another unflashy jk who is quietly efficient and a much more reliable and consistent jk than Spencer. |
