GGS from GS on Decs. No rain overnight. Chance of light rain before racing. GStick 06:45am. 12DegC. Stiff SSW Wind = 3/4+ Headwind from Right in HS. Exceeding Power described as ''2yo type' to look at in 213 but sore shins would hold him up. Latest work VT from 14th Sept show him working on his own is wet conditions and screen black for half the VT (covered from rain?).Looks smaller medium and not the taller sire type. He's My Boy looks a 'Now' 2yo on his Brz. Smaller and shorter but skips along at an ok pace and willing runner. But prob lacking scope. Messy, part broken race with wide spread across centre from early on and two different Groups before half plus the green Templar Boy racing alone towards the FrSd. Chainsaw Wildly Pulling from Early on, again, and the Jk unable to hold him. Racing on Stds Sd group and offering to hang right and horse threw his head around and not looking where he was going nor concentrating. Looked the best choice to let him hang over to the Stds rail and he was there around+2f. Jk on Al Senad having trbl holding his free running, much less visible, and had opted to try to settle him bhd Chainsaw from early on so where Chainsaw went he followed. Silver Treasure a slow start and then the jk chose to switch across the Stds Sd of Group+1.5f and then follow the pair over as they went StdsSd, Rathealy running settled in Centre track and leading that group. But, that group well spread lengthwise and not an organised pack. Rathealy drifting over to StdsSd ins-2f to merge the groups and a 2f sprint ensued which seemed to separate the right 3 going clear. With the excpetion of Chainsaw who clearly has more to show but the Free Running is 'Out Of Control' at present and plugged on quite well given how he ran the 1st 3f. |
