SUMMARY
 GGF from G on Decs. GStick 10:30am as 8.0 Cent, 8.1 Stds, 8.2 FrSd (But don't say where stalls are with the Far Side Track in use).

17DegC. Light to Medium Easterly Wind = 1/4 Headwind from Left.

Carthage hyped in 213 with Hannon saying he wished he had a share. More importantly is the note that Hughes (rides here) highlighted him as one he liked.

Stalls on Stds Sd but stretch out to Cent-FrSd. Field racing wide spread for 1f then Master The World who had broken best near Rail starting drifting across to End up in Lo3 near Centre Line and others on his side followed to produce a single group racing cntre (but with 10 Ln+ spread.

Pace Slower to Hf.

Carthage & Touch The Clouds alongside each other at Hf in a Lo6 about 6-7L off Lead. Those two the notable 'weaving through last 1f closers' but in different manner. Jk on TTC trying to make progress ins-3f and held up to final 1F by hrs fading back. Hughes on Carthge seemed to have decided to treat this as an Educ Intro before the race started. Never putting the horse into the race and instead waiting until the last 1f to ask the horse for an effort (now say 3L behind TTC from with him 2-3F prior) to see what he could produce. Effort seemed Ok and presume he will be Fav in some smaller track mdn NTO?

Only horses making ground on leader (VLen vs TLen) were Divisional, TTC & Carthage and they only did so because MTW eased for 2L+ late on when jk looked both ways and realised he was miles clear.
