STD as on Decs. Reports note that "Further wax was added earlier this week. Once that has had time to settle, we will re-assess, and take further action should it be necessary." Presumably in response to the high amount of Kickback since the Track was relaid. Richard Hughes reported by HT as saying the surface didn't seem like the same "sand" anymore and seemed more like SWEL. HT on Form Factor previous day did a piece looking at the Stats before and after the Track Surface maintenance (when it closed for a period). He produces his own Time Figures and the Corrections figures he had been producing had been in the range of 2-3 Seconds Fast = times were notably fast and presumably the old surface had thinned and lost some structure and they were running on a solid carpet close to the firm base the surface is laid on. The first meeting after the work he had a Correction figure of 5 secs Slow = ridiculously slow. He was no getting figures near Zero over the last few meetings. Note the SSW had become STD recently. 16DegC. Stiff- SSE Wind = 1/4 Headwind from Left BS, 1/4 Tailwind from Right HS. |
