G as on Decs. 5mm of Rain previous week up to Fri (0.2mm). GStick 09:00am Stands' Rail out by 2yds from 6f Pole to the Intersection & reducing to 0yds by the Finishing Line. Top Bend OUT by 11yds which adds 38yds to the Race Distance. 17DegC. Light to Medium WSW Wind = Direct Tailwind 6f Pole, to intersection, 3/4 Tailwind from Right HS. Headwind into Bend. Similar Final Time to Div I and some other similarities incl a leader getting a Cmf time despite offering to HgL around most of the Loop. But, first race turned into a 2F sprint with only the Jks on the First two that interested in trying to win. This Div presumably a bit stronger and 6-7 jks interested in trying to make it a race. This meant the final sprint started by 2.5F out and put enough pressure into the race for a 'Closer' to overhaul the leading pair from Hf. First 6 finished within 2L of each other which raises some questions but Throne Room, Elusive Guest & Bury Pacer all either talked up by connections and/or with solid Profiles to suggest this a deeper Div. Worth noting that Supachap still hanging onto the tail of the Ldg6 ins-1f when he appeared to be hampered and snatched up and then allowed to ease back to the stragglers. |
