SUMMARY

GFG from GF on Decs. 2mm Rain Overnight. GStick 06:30am. Previous 3 Days+, & continuing on day, have seen small Anticyclone sat just off Gt Yarmouth and not moving. This has produced spinning circles and fronts of rain which have sat over Norfolk and the East Midlands for the whole time and then some Fronts have broken off & circled wider over South of England. Areas like the North of England, Scotland & Wales have missed this compact Circle entirely and had mostly dry weather.

12DegC. Stiff to medium NE Wind = just under 1/2 Tailwind from Right HS.

MaJo jks = Fanning (Mariners Moon), LeeG (Insaany) & NichollsD (Mambo Rhythm).

Slower Pace and a number not handling the tight RH bend. Pace threatened to up briefly early in HS but soon dropped and race developed into less than a '2f Sprint' and a good amount of 'Creep' before-2f to have a packed Fornt Rank with 2R bhd & PDV, for eg, not able to find a clear run. Poss makes group difficult to judge since a set of 8f+ stayers trying to 'sprint' on firmer ground with a tailwind and unlikely to suit a number of them.

PDV lacking any CoPc, LRDevil po ok ins-2f for a bit then HdUp and HgR-1f, Insaany green Ov and in Pocket-2f and never really get a clear run either, Art Obsession another looking a bit slow and just po, Ice Mayden looking an OkSz but rolling around on bend and then able to produce more than a minor po Eff ins-2f and prob unsuited to set-up but check devt. Mariner's Moon faded quickly once headed and adf-1f+. Which left Mambo Spirit as the standout effort last 2Fhaving been green through the race. Hung left ins-2f when trying to pick-up and ended up Cent-Stds but raised a real Po once balanced and closing on (Eased) leader late on. Mindblowing just having to run competently and produce a bit of Po-1f+ to get 2-3L clear after a po-2f and time to get really going and get away from others.
