13DegC Stiff to Medium SE Wind = Mostly X-Wind from Right HS. Following note from CoC = The track has been re-instated following the addition of further binder over the weekend.. No racing at WTON since previous Saturday with KTNA doing 3 x floodlit meetings during week. Shyron got adrift of field LTO here on BS before getting a dream run through on Rail around the bend and intot he HS which left him with a manageable task to overhaul the leaders. Again go off the back of the Group in thge BS here. Couple of difference to lLTO win with a trickier job of picking through the traffic on the rail and stopped at one point. Solid effort in HS but first two home had produced solid efforts in the HS and in Rayoumti case saw the race out well. Which meant Shyron set too stiff a task to recover the lost ground. Rayoumti's win meant both Nurs on card won by trainer Botti. Both with horses that ran earlier in season, then had a more recent comeback run of a long break then came on here to win NTO. Botti now 11-20 with runners in Oct and his usual Sept 'Dip in Form' was less pronounced than usual. Why the target at strong Oct performances? |
