S an Decs. No info about Rain. GStick 06:00am. Stalls Centre. 16DegC. Stiff+ Southerly Wind = Close to Direct Headwind in HS. Rae Guest interviewed after race and said he thought Cape Factor would win based on the recent home work. Said they had just been waiting for some Soft Ground and a suitable nursery because he knew CF better on soft. Said he had bough CF because she was "vaguely related" to Serious Attitude and that one's owner had taken her on. Said the horses had odd forelegs when they he saw it but paid a cheap price. Foreleg issues showed up here with a part splayed use. Worth noting that CF raunning the Stands' Rail alone for much of race and might have contributed some to the wide margin win. Next two winners also the rail runners. Jk Catlin never looked round which meant he was asking for everything when 5+ VLens clear ins-1f. Assuming a hike to OR80+ see how CF goes under that rating. |
