- Owned by Maktoum Al Maktoum and trained by M. Stoute winning 5 races at 5f to 7f between 2yo to 3yo. Won two from five at 2yo, second on 5f debut on May 31st before winning the 6f Group 3 July Stakes on July 10th whichwas followed by being runner-up in the 6f Group 2 Richmond (as 9/4 fav) on July 31st, then won the 5f Group 2 Flying Childers and finally fourth in the 6f Group 2 Mill Reef (as 6/5 fav). Won the 6f Group 1 July Cup at 3yo.
- To stud in 1987 and a top class record producing more than 1,500 wins and a range of Group/Grade 1 winners including Sheikh Albadou (Grade 1 6f in US), Cape Cross (8f), DesertPrince (8f), Oasis Dream (6f), Invincible Spirit (6f) & Heat Haze (8f).
- Very good record with his British 2yos although worth noting the decrease in strike rate figures in the last two seasons (2004-5). Gets winners between 5f to 7f from early season but with his best figures usually at 6f. Regularlygets better class winners each year, recent examples are Oasis Dream (2002), Byron, Holborn & Kheleyf (2003) & Suez in 2004. In line with the lower strike rate the 2005 crop only contained maiden level winners.
