- 2001 foal, 16.1hh. Cost $3,100,000 as a yearling and trained in Ireland by Aiden O'Brien for John Magnier & Michael Tabor. Only notable winner from his dam who is a sister to the dam of Group 2 winner State Shinto and half sister to the dam of Grade 1 winner Aragorn.
- Win four of his five juvenile starts after beginning with a fourth place in a 5f maiden on April 27th. Successful in a 6f York maiden on June 143th, 6f Group 3 Anglesey Stakes, 6f Group 1 Phoenix Stakes and the 7f Group 1 National Stakes. Tried unsuccessfully over 8f at 3yo when 13th and eased in the 2,000 Guineas as 15/8f and unplaced in an Irish Group 3 as 1/2 favourite. Reverted to 6f to win the Phoenix Park Sprint from The Kiddykid and then placed third in the 5f Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes to Bahamian Pirate. Final start when 6th as 6/4f in the 6f Group 1 Sprint Cup.
