- First Season Sire in 2006. Trained by R Hannon and cost 40,000gns as a yearling. Won 4 races at 2yo to 3yo between 5-7 furlongs. Only 5f winner at 2yo in UK for his sire but took three attempts and received weight when successfuland improved with longer distances. Won 3 from 10 as a juvenile winning a 5f Novice on May 5th after two places in 5f maidens. Fourth in the Coventry Stakes and in an Irish Group 3 before victorious in the 7f Listed Superlative Stakes. Later won the 7f Group 3 Solario Stakes and 3rd of 6 in the 8f Group 1 Racing Post Trophy.
- Won 1 from 8 at 3yo, successful in Gp3 7f at Newmaket on Apr 20th then placed in 2000 Guineas. 2 places in last 5 runs.
- Made a solid start with his 2yos in 2006 assited by support from his trainer R. Hannon who had his best runners. 5 winners from 18 runners and better class wins for Gilded (5f Group 2) & Sonny Red (5f Listed) both for that trainer. Only one win after June 26th and that set of Hannon managed victories. 27 yearlings sold for an average above 27,000 guineas..
