SUMMARY

Medium SSW Wind = 3/4 Tailwind in the HS.

Goathland cost just 10k as a 2yo and how he moves in his Breeze Video perhaps the reason. Perhaps shorter and lengthy, a bit shallow bodied & prob a bit narrow. But not a 10k 'rabbit' size. But, moves poorly and presumably did a slow time. Has a short and hard ponding action in front showing little reach and a solid knee action. Trying to hustle him to go faster makes him looks more laboured and pounds harder but little difference to the speed and gets a bit unblanced if anything. Leaves the impression of having a short pounding action behind.

Sporting Bob cost even less than Goathland at the same sale at 4.5k. Looking at his Breeze Video a lot of the same issues. Probably smaller and light behind and the rider looking 'Big' on him. Also has a notable KA and not using much reach. Stumbles at least twice as his hard pounding action in Front hits a loose patch of ground. But, into full gallop before the 2f marks and keeps going to the finish and perhaps a bit more pace than Goathland?
