GS from G on Decs. Stalls Stands' Side of the Stands' Side Course. With Hindsight, Trainer Charlton seems to choose carefully the horses he sends to debut at the Newmarket courses. In 2012 his sole debut was Dundonnel who was 3rd at 10/1 FTO and went on to win at Group 3 level as a 2yo. In 2013 his sole debut was the filly Fray who was a highly promising 7th at 33/1 in a big field and won STO. Suffused winning here brought his record with NMKT debuts to 2 wins (Ooty Hill won at 7/1), a 2nd (Wheat Sheaf at 14/1) plus Devonshire Place as the 2nd string in this race unplaced at 16/1. Check how she develops. Going back further a more mixed story in 2010 but did have a FTO winner at NMKJ. In 2011 only one debut finished 7th at 16/1 on the sole 2yo run. That filly - Valiant Girl - won twice as a 3yo and won a Gr3 in the US later. |
