S from GS on Decs and GS with rain for the previous day's race. 2mm of rain overnight and more rain forecast for the day. Medium+ X-Wind from Left.

ought to have been a good one as a FTO at GDWD for the Hannons but drifting in Market. Good closer shot of the fillies breaking out of the stalls on the Replay and if you nothing about the Market but saw CM as she came out you would known you were in trouble. Small in the context of the group and the bigger Carrot Top looms outside her early just to highlight the point. CM also looking a bit surprised and green out of the stalls and coat condition low for a Hannon as well. No surprise to see her drop to last at the 2F mark where the final sprints went of a usable pace. Outpaced evan by Lady Marita who was also green although a little smaller than CM. The way CM stayed on back to 3rd under HnH as the leading pair had duelled clear probably indicating that CM is a 75+ one but developing over 7f+. Carrot Top looking sweaty AP and travelled ok in the race but then hanging right and not really picking up 2f out as might have been expected. Got too worked up and improve if more professional NTO? Good to see Kirby on Showcard put his whip down 0.5f out and just concentrate on getting into a rhythm with the filly and leeting her respond. Which she did late on to get back up. A3 on Exentricity hacking away to the line and Showcard going by Exentricity just as the A3 raised his whip for another time (jk probably not fully balanced) for a lst hit just before the line. The A3 had got Exentricity to the lead 1f out by sitting low and tight and not using his whip at all. The use of the whip as challenged again just seemed to be reflex rtaher then feeling how his mount was travelling and working with that.
