SUMMARY
GS by Race Time. GSS from GS on Decs. Stalls Far Side = GStick 6.1 FrSd & 5.8 Centre (Rail Bias?).

Fahey Pre-Race in SL piece = "We’re double handed in the Median Auction Maiden Stakes at York. Bonds Choice ran a real good race there on debut and surprised me a little. I don’t know how good a contest it was but she’s definitely improved for the run. Home Cummins is a daughter of Rip Van Winkle and at this stage looks one of our nicer two-year-old fillies. If she handles the soft ground she’ll run a big race."

A moderate maiden behind the 1st two home and Home Cummins one of a number not moving well on the surface. Rails Far Side and the GStick reading said FrSd quicker than Centre Track. Mr Universe drawn on the Far Rail but jk switching right away from the rail from earliest opportunity and had the whole field follow him to Centre Track after 2f. Mr Univ prob the biggest and most competent. A solid kick 2F out to go clear but stalling in the last 0.5f and HC closing back to him. Around 80?

Home Cummins barely medium but neat and ok build. Did a lot wrong and given that a plus mark that she was still trying hard late into the race. Ran too free before halfway then rolling around and sidewinding before 2F out. But, giving 100% and kept at it despite hanging left to finish the race close to the far rail. Any advantage racing back there? Hard race to judge but ought to be ok for 75 but how will that movment hold up in a faster race?

The race that Mr Univ and Bonds Choice probably over-rated and run in 0.71s slower than this race and on a notch slower going. BC pressed MU in the lead there and able to find an effort 2F out. Here BC hustled to join MU again but looking outapced by halfway and fading badly. Why the poor effort?

Muradif looking nothing like sire Zebedee and not looking a 6f type. A bit green and looking a lengthy galloper and not a pace type. Travelling ok to 2F out but then just plugging on. Raw here and prob needs 7f pace but seems ok for 70+.

Not much interest in the others and would be worth looking into what TDE's record is with 2yos who have raced at YORK and their subsequent 2yo careers. Is it a poor indicator of usable 2yo ability as feels the case? Having said that some academic interest in Penny Royale who has been sold onto a regualr 'lucky' owner int he yard since FTO. Smaller type in the field but looks to be built ok. Ran too free for a lot of the first half of the race and despite that going 2nd or 3rd best at 2F (better and more organied than HC, for eg, who was already Head Up and Sidewinding), Produced a bit better effort than most and clawed her way to 3rd before a fade (in line with her pulling earlier) hid that promise. Would be interesting to see her back at 5f and using the basic pace she appears to have in a weaker race.
