SUMMARY
Wide range of abilities, and willingness on show, and a stiff pace to spread them out and test the resolve of the unwilling. FIrst two home clear going onto the bend.

Denzille a bigger and better type in the context of SWEL and up to 6f on a slower surface (MaJo runners up-in-trip generally a good thing and would be good to know what he does to make that so). DLane going the wrong way round TP after planting himself but look back top being willing in the race. Pulling to the lead in the BS and held all round the bend. Eventually settled and briefly headed while he listened for what the jk wanted. Back leading before 2F out at his own natural pace but then a bit green and hanging left. But a comfortable win. Some sort of later 70s one on size and type. Looking back on MaJo's record with 2yo at SWEL and it didn't really start until 2009 but he has had 1-2 winners a season since. Notably 5-6 of those winners have been late 70s at least and one of the trainers who does send solid quality to the course (he was there to saddle DL). Which makes it odd to think he spends some time moaning about the surface at SWEL in his 'bletherings'. Perhaps because of the (lack of) maintenance at SWEL rather than Fibresand itself.

Grosmont put into context next to the notably bigger DL and prob upper 60s. Competent and willing here and would win a weak event here with little trouble.

No real Interest in the 4 behind. Rocco's Delight a notch smaller than Grosmont and might leak into the 60s but a downside trainer.

Cheeco well prepared but small and oddly shaped. Green in the race and a poor mover overall. Might get to 50.

Grim fascination with trainer McCabe continues. Lunar Knot using McCabe's primary (only?) last chance tactic. Headgear and switch to SWEL. Didn't work with Red Connect and LK looks gone in her attitude. Responded for a while to her jks driving but then packed it in entirely early in the HS and the jk getting busy with the whip produced no response.

Artic Promise a small and Toy one for an owner breeder and presumably will drop to a get-rid Seller sooner rather than later (Alan Berry likes to buy ex-Meehan ones). Low 50s? and jk Fortune looking big on him and AP fading and gone by 1.5f out.
