SUMMARY

GFG by 11:30am. GGF from GS on Decs. 0.5mm rain overnight. Stiff SSW Wind = mostly a direct X-Wind from the Left.

Race that usually has two Divisions but is normally stuffed with sub-70 types unless the Hannons bring a better type or if one of the lesser stables have an unusally good cheap one. The 3 years 2011-13 have seen 6 equivalent races with divisions and they have produced just one later win at 'Maiden' level abnd that by a smaller filly who was a 70 type.

This looked the Stronger Div in Profile and run in 0.4secs faster time. Unlike the 1st Div some of these around 70 and perhaps a touch above. Jaganory the regular winner Evans seems to get for this owner at SALS each year. Fit and professional here and just 70+. Talk of 'Royal Ascot' reported afterwards and presumably for the Chesham Stakes. You would hope that a RASCT 2yos race would be strong enough to stop a low 70s horse making the first 6 (say) but the Chesham can get very patchy or thin and a competent and fit one finish laughably close up in a 'Listed' event.

Vegas Rebel a short and bulky one and around 70. No real interest in those in 3rd-6th and Cape Cay & Fayreway smaller or ill-made types you would like to avoid following.

Vague interest in Gavarnie Encore for no obvious reason other than a niggling 'gut felling' on watching the video. Runer Runner a bit more size in the group but a wild attitude int he prelims and a downside trainer so let her go.

Grenade ought ot be about the best of the group and low 70s. Seemed to run too freely here and then moving poorly and soon eased. Hannons usually manage to 'fix' this type if it is fixable so one to cehck STO that he presents as fit and ready and not on a 'comeback run' off an injury lay-ff.
