SUMMARY
G in the am from GFG on Decs. 24mm of watering given but only detailed down to 'during this week' (2 days?, 7days?, etc). 7.1mm of rain overnight.

See discussion about possible Track Bias in race 213. Any evidence for it here? Field raced less widely spread out but on a similar Track just Stands Side of the Centre line of the course width. Probably a bit slowe than Average pace.

Some Evidence for it here with the winner racing widest on track to Far Side again and a clear win. But 3rd x FTO win for Candy this year so Alonsoa is likely to be 80+ anyway. Visibly if you watch the race from halfway to just before 1F out you would say there is a definite bias. All Rounder racing on the Stands Side of the Centre Line and the horses Stands Side of her getting unbalanced and losing ground from around 2.5f out like they are running through 'glue'. Then All Rounder and the horses behind her, including Ya Latif (switched right from Far Side to notably Stands Side of the Group) & Star Of Spring (switched from Far Side to behind All Rounder in last 2f) get left behind as the Lower Drawn & wider racing quartet of Alonsoa, All My Love, Abaq & Hound Music make progress together.

Stop the Video just before 1F out and those 4 are looking likely to pull away and Hound Music in 4th just ahead of All Rounder. Not staying 7f in the case of HM & AML then sees them fading back behind horse they have passed/left behind. But, the substantial looking trio of All Rounder, Ya Latif & Star Of Spring all plugging on relentlessly having drifted left a bit and All Rounder, having dropped from leading to 5th, only just fails to stay back on for 2nd as the smaller looking Abaq fades close to the finish. Something going on..

[Post full VRev & VP thoughts]. Slower pace than the preceding Auction race and holds [Est] down. But, despite the pace and the concerns about track bias the better fillies seemed to have got prominent bythe finish if not showing their full ability. Alonsoa a solid size and strongly built. Mentally & physically ready for the day. 80+ and Candy has a good record of finding second wins for this type of FTO winner. Clearly he has a solid set of 2yos in 2014 & this his 3rd x FTO after a 3 year break having been a 'Ready FTO' trainer before. Possible illness (horses) and not good enough issues in those years. This the first of FTO successes he has trained right through from 1yo.

Abaq well bred and important to both trainer and owner to do well with her. Ran too free here off the slow pace and only just failing to stay. But, one of those smaller medium ones by Oasis Dream and not the size and range of her dam. 3-4 bigger fillies int he race perhaps with more scope. Definitely 75+ and a breeze for the Hannons to find the right maiden to win but not a strong PRev candidate to go much higher.

All Rounder looking very strong and well built in the VRev and the picture showing her a bit shorter than expected on that but solid length and strong throughout. Not fully tuned for the day. In the spirit of not just using a 'Track Bias' card to explain things you could have a different take on how she ran. She perhaps lacked the kick off a slower pace that she set because she is an 8f+. That was part of the reason she dropped to 5th and nipper and readier types inside the last 2f (all racing wide of her, of course), and she was staying on back to them atthe line becuase she is a development stayer (and a good sign she is out already if she is), But definitely 85+ and a likeable type to follow.

Two likeable stong fillies in 4th & 5th as well to complete a swet of 4 others in the firsr 5 home that made Abaq look a bit small. Ya Latif taller than AR & not as strong. Looking green and a bit raw here. Taking time to get goig in the last 2F once switched right. Another 80+ one. Star Of Spring seemed to come with a reputation given the SP for Hills FTO. Pity they didn't tell whoever got her to 3/1 that they were going to go for an Educ Intro here. SOS breaking well but then hauled to the back behind a slow pace. Always travelling well with the jk looming above the others but struggled to find a clear run. But, looks solid 85+ and the physical presence to suggest the hype has ok substance.

Zubaidah a smaler medium neat one lacking the bulk of the first 5. Should be 70+. Hound Music's picture again shows he erect and bracing herself which show off better but looking more gangly and less muscly (bit fat?) in her FTO picture. Was hauled even further out of the race early to race last. Some progress before the efforts went but just a middling effort inthe last 2F before fading. Should be 75 but would need to check how the path of her physical develpment is going 3TO. All My Love perhaps not quite 70 and effort here assisted by a prominent run in a slow race. Stalling inside the last 1f and fading-0.5f so presumae back to 6f?

Not much interest in those behind although Mikandy a bit chubby here and has some build positive to develop. Ran a bit free & perhaps on the wrong part of the track in the swamp but a somewaht worrying quick fade.
