SUMMARY
GF as on Decs. Watering but no Details given.

Fingal's Cave nominated as his 'Bargain Buy' by Channon in 214. Work video from 6th of May shows him working with a complete mixed bag of 3 others. Better type Moonraker comfortably goes best and FCave running alongside him and 2-3 sizes smaller. But, going second best and leaving the other pair of 2yos (on the far side of the Lead horse) toiling behind. One of those was Seller Winner Honest Bob's & the other the unraced Pendlebury.

Just an Average pace and, leaving Magical Memory to one side, not much relative change between the others and most still going forward to some extent at the line. The fact that 3 of the first 4 through Halfway ended up well back seemed more to do with those 3 having 'issues' and not because of a fast pace. Only Fahey for Heaven's Secret bothered to do a WTRB report. There needs to be a 'No Idea' type WTRB cstegory which is followed up if any info comes to light later. A summary of the race would be a perfectly usable middling Auction Race which should produce some subsequent winners at Auction & Nursery level though no Obvious 75+ types.

That summary leavin out Magical Mempry whop was in the 'wrong race' and presumably just here to break his maiden, learn to settle more and gain more experience. MM one of those OR80+ developers Hills' has and came with a reputation FTO. Ran too free there and then no chance in the Lily Agnes the way the race unfolded. Blew the start 3TO and a taking effort to get to 2nd before hanging. Trainer Hills saying after that MM still needed to learn.

Which perhaps explains why he turned up in an Auction race over 6f 4TO and out-of-place as a real OR80 Open Maiden type at 5f.. Learn to settle & run competently and then back to higher targets. Jk Baker riding him confidently and took time to find a gap in the last 2f. MM not showing the same zip as at SDWN 3TO when asked for an effort but that after 5f here. Whip used and always doing enough to get to the front, then perhaps idling and not separating himself from the others as might have been the case. But, job done with a win and mostly settled effort. Syndicate Owners Manager tweeting afterwards that it would be back to 5.1f at the Supersprint NTO.

Good debut from Publilia by MaJo standards and looking a bit bigger than a Makfi 'neat' one. Probably ok for 70+. Fingal's Cave another smaller and lightly made Channon one in PRev but seems to have a rangy movement that lifts his performance level above his size. But, prob 60s and staying on here as if 7f ok.

Fahey made a WTRB for Heaven's Secret saying the GF ground was too fast for HS. Watching the last 2f of the Video that seems reasonable. HS showing a knee action trhough the race and running a bit too freely in the leading line. Even so, a laboured pick-up in the last 2f and getting unbalanced and hanging. HS better than the result here and later 60s? Fahey presumably knew that HS is better than Johnny B Goode and that feeding into the need for a WTRB report. Ridden by an A5 JBG small but running a competent race and didn't seemed to be helpe din the last 2f by the jk. Hard to know what she was doing, not doing or reacting to. A feeble attempt with the whip at one point after she had found it and seemed to spend the rest of the time dithering about either thinking JBG was hanging or worrying because Publilia was offering to roll in front of JBG. Seems to hold the form down but check NTO whether JBG just improved a bit and running to his low 60s(?) level. Or is he a 50s one?

Laidback Romeo another running in the front line then failing to pick up, geeting unbalanced but never really fading. No WTRB report but presume some of of going issue? Looking average size in this group and perhaps drop PRev rating back below 75?

Maesmor Magic looking a small one & running flat out to keep in then hang onto to Leading Line. But, also appearing to have a movement problem in the last 2f beyond just being outpaced by bigger horses. Jk getting less response than expected 2F out and picked the whip up before 1F out but put it down again and eased the horses while looking down as if he thought the horse had 'gone wrong'.
