GF as on Decs. Watering but no Details given. Doesn't look to be £40,000's worth in the Breeze Video for Ya Halla. A smallish compact type of his sire with a somewhat gawky neck. Wearing a peculiarly positioned sheepskin noseband (shadow roll). Scuttles through the breeze looking 'young' and ordinary pace in line with his size and lack of range. Why the price? Another Varian FTO where the Market knew what to expect. Belardo not standing out in the group prelims VRev. Shorter one with some length and solid build. But travelled smoothly through the race and jk confident. 80+ but any higher? Heartbreak Hero confirming his debut PRev promise as 75+ and separating himself well enough from the lesser ones but no match for Belardo. ATR fingered Siren's Cove as being particularly promising FTO here so showed the replay of that run again and talked her up to fill the time. Without having bothered to check the quality of that first run, SC's size, etc. Small and lightly made and outpaced here by the first two then some plugging on before a fade. 50s? 60s nursery types and worse behind the front two and SC. Pivot Point too green to show what he can do fully but an ok development run. Bushtown Boy sweaty & frothy mouth and turned into a free runner STO. Probably an ok effot 2f out given that and has scope to rate higher when he finds a settled pace to go at and finishes a race off. Check progress into nurseries. Presto Boy probably small & uninteresting and when is trainer Fanshawe going to show us a good one who will win FTO? PB given a quiet ride and too green to pick-up 2f out so at least check STO. Interesting aside in the video after about 50secs in when PB stumbles briefly which has the effect of part launching jk Turner upwards out of the saddle but able to land back in the saddle. Ya Halla looking smaller in the group and blown away before 2f out off a soft lead. 33/1 doesn't suggest the trainer thinks he been given £40k's worth of raw material either. |
