SUMMARY

GF as on Decs. Watering up to Wed but no amounts given. Temp only 13DegC with a Stiff to Medium NE Wind = just Under a Half Tailwind from the Right.

Seller run faster than the preceding Fillies' Maiden and a faster pace. The only interesting question out of this race is whether Honest Bob's is competitive in Nurseries 'soon' and better than his small size suggests. Showed a bit of something that looked like extra zip STO to win a weak 6f seller and a 'Good Judge' like Ellison paid £15,000 to get him. Possibly trying to repeat last year's success with Scargill. Got that one from Channon out of a seller and got it rated OR78 when it was a 60s type, only won another seller with it, but then sold it in July at a HiT sale fopr 40,000gns to race in the Emirates. HBob wining a little comfortably here but a weak race and running straight on the rail and missing the pace when the smaller ones doing some combination of those three. Inclined to take him seriously in lower level nurseries if OR60s in July and perhaps Ellison will try to sell him on then before the precocity fades away and the lack of scope kicks in.

Ventura Shadow a small on but running an ok race away from the rail but int he right grade here.

Just academic interest behind. QOTScots a poor attitude shown before and a bit more willing in FT cheekpieces but then starting to pack it in in the 4th 1f and flashing her tail to the whip. Cupulation looking small & underpowered even in this group. Hell For Leather another poor run for a Turner 2yo and not comfortable in the headgear but of no interest even if he sorted out whatever attitude problem he has. Turner 'raids' on EDIN usually well trgeted in quality terms of his horses but both runners this day running poorly.
