SUMMARY
G by Race Time with some rain and Field racing off the rail. GF as on Decs. 3-9mm on 'Selective Watering' but no timing given. Medium to Light Westerly as a Direct Tailwind. Rail fully in.

Does not look like £90,000 on the move in Total Demolition's Breeze Video. Prices Inflated. Looks a smaller ready on with some range in front but doesn't really use it because of a solid knee action. Takes time to get going and middle part of breeze is straight and ok speed without looking fast. Gets tired last 0.5f and hangs over to far side by the finish. The picture of him on the Qatar Racing website shows a small ready sprinter with some ok power behind for the size but lacking scope?. What sort of a job does Spencer do in using, the draw next to the rail? Does he turn it into a problem as he often does?

Fahey's SL piece = "Over at Windsor, we run Doctor Kehoe in the Maiden Stakes and I was quite happy with his run first time out at Haydock as he’ll come on for the run. It’s difficult to tell sometimes but he could win if it’s an ordinary race. I’d say he’s probably more of a horse for nurseries a bit later though."

Back-of-an-Envelope summary of race on one viewing is a moderate race and St Brelades Bay much better than the rest as a 78-85 type one. Hughes able to mess the ride up, twice, and still win comfortably because of the lack of oppostion. Went from Wide Draw to midfield on the rail on the interesection then, predictably, cut up and having to work out wide again. Fortunately for the jk enough pace in race on going to fold the field back to him. Home Of The Brave looking less big & strong than the Hype suggested including the trainer saying the people who bought Starspangledbanner bought HOTB because they thought he was just like the sire at the sales. Hard to see on VRev how that could be. Muir pair looking sub 70s and Soldier Sam very green despite having been ready to go over 5f in April. Why the delay?

Spencer made a typically slow break on Total Demolition to be last after 3 strides then got him running freely to make an effort through to lead. Fading around 1f out and presumably will go drop toi 5F STO and be the smaller spirnter he looks and can probably get 70+. His £90k price tag, along with silly amounts for Loretta Martin et al, feeding a growing realisation that the prices at Sales (especially those where just getting a ready runner with 4 legs and still breathing is competitive) are getting even more uncorrelated with Horse Size, looks and Ability. The Qatari influx of money often looking like pure benificence (for whatever broad sense 'political' reason) by people for whom £90k doesn't register as 'money'.
