SUMMARY
G as on Decs. 9.5mm rain Sat. Rail fully in.

Vinamar's Breeze looks better than 11k sounds. Hard to judge size & rider perhaps a bit larger than typical. Smallish one and plain looking. Tubular body with some length. But, uncomplicated action and ride and seems to move fine in the breeze and finish the 2f off. Why the basement level price? What info has been missed, or is missing, from the Video?

[Post VRev & VP (via @hughonthehill) thoughts] - Sire Sales Median Auction qualification to run (i.e. not an Open Maiden) making this a moderate to poor race. Pace a bit too strong and softening up the front runners to some extent. A lot of poor movement in the second half of the race with moderate/poor athletes not making the most of what limited power they have.

Rosie's Premieresmaller but neatly made and a relative 'powerhouse' compred to the others. Sitting off the pace and able to make the best forward effort and effect enhanced by the others folding back. Solid nursery type around 70.

Robin Hill 'rescued' by a Friendly Claim having finished a staying on 4th here in a 6f Seller on debut (to make the point again about the race standard). Ok size and neatly made in this field. Did best of the prominent runners aided by dropping 2R as the Leading Pair pressed on a bit before Halfway. Mostly staying on and perhaps better back at 6f. But, low to mid-60s.

Crawford Avenue a visually ugly effort LTO at CHES and looking one to try to oppose NTO. Trainer Cox found the right level of lesser race for her here but a poor favourite at odds-on. You could have backed Hawkesbury at 4/5f against fillies not much bigger than this lot. CA looking to have gone light here and just an ordinary one in the field. Ran a similar race to CHES in running prominently and looking willing in making her effort but then a later fade and moving scratchily. 60s at present and need to see an improvement in build and condition (which Cox can achive at times).

Kansai not as big as her picture makes her seem since she is stretching up and being judged against a small Lass. Some length but mostly neat and could be 60+ nursery type.

Mazoula a compact body and some positive in being deep bodied and some strength. But, lacking the length and neatness of RP and looking an unconvincing as being able to move athletically in the picture. Weak Neck? Given a non involving ride. Except for a building respect for the trainer being able to find the right sort of low level races for these types then would normally be of No Interest. At least check development.

Fine Judgment's 6th place misleading since she was adrift off the back for most of the race and overtook 3 horses who had been eased early late on by being ridden out fully (a way for a jk to make themselves unpopular with the easers). Small and a peculiar shape and set-up. Some mild build positive in some areas but overall effect is of a 'Committee Design' that isn't going to work. Sire Compton Place has a history of producing soild winners who look a bit gawky and ill made. But they are usually bigger ones and even then not as oddly put together as FJ.

Noble Cause small & unathletic & Strategise looking small and underpowered. Misjudged in PRev FTO but had gome backward in condition here. Also looking hesistant and leaning towards unwilling in the race. Not just plain outpaced by more powerful ones. Check presentation NTO.

Vinamar too green to get involved early then hanging left from Halfway and the jk knocked off early. Neater made than the previous two but still smallish and might be competitive int he 50s.
