SUMMARY

S by 16:45pm after 11mm of rain since 11:00am. G from GF on Decs & GS the Previous Day after 44m of rain in a Heavy Shower.

Stalls Far Side but Field racing from Centre Track (CAAine) to Stands' Side (No One Knows) and full width of that range 2f out with all six runners in different lanes & within just over 1L of the lead. Slower pace to past Halfway with a tight group and a several running to free & held.

Not a strong Nursery lacking runner(s) with solid development scope. Looking at the ORs (from the Racing Post rater as BHA stand in at present) then none of the six appeal as having 5+ points in hand. Some have a few lbs in hand and others look over-rated (especially Celestial Vision), or at least unproven in this race set up (Mecca's Mirage). Add to that Magical Roundabout back off break from two moderate efforts and hanging both times & looking in lesser condition LTO. Looking just average size in this smaller, ready, early Nursery field.

No One Knows back off a break and still smaller but seemed to have bulked up a bit and in good condition. OR71 ought to be a limit, or a bit too high, in a solid nursery but left with beating two smaller fillies running off the same rating & 4lbs less with the 2 males & MM not finishing the race off for various reasons. Given NOK running too freely for the first half of the race odd to see her staying on best at the finish. Did seem to be moving better than seen befoe ont he run out.

Ar Colleen Aine a typical Channon small one but seemed to go ok in this group receiving weight. Jk sensibly mad eth ground back from last in the CZ so started the 2f sprint at the end of the race from level with the Leading Line. Tried hard and seemd to go well on the soft going and only fading late. That positive view diluted by the small size and ACA one needing a soft Nursery to win rather than being able to take it. Should be sub 70. .

Perardua similar frame to the smaller ACA but a touch narrower & less powerful. 71 should be too high in an averagely competitive Nursery & finished 3rd of the 3 competitive fillies here and possibly outlasted by more 'powerful' ones here.

Celestial Vision & Magical Roundabout looking just smaller and ok build ones in this field and both running too free and held for long periods and both nodding well on short mecks. CV a similar effort to the fillies but and earlier fade. Likely to get ironed out in a soild Nursery off 77 and needs to work that down. MR went from going ok and the jk looking across at the others 2.5f out to being niggled along before 2f out and then hanging left fom soon inside 2f out and that lessening the effect of whatever effort he made. The head going tot he right and moving a bit awkwardly late on. The break hasn't fix the problems he has on this evidence.

Mecca's Mirage STO win worth nothing like OR77 and in the same size range as the others here. Looking for excuses you could say she pulled to hard but most of the others pulling to some extent. SHe also hung left in the same way as MR did and that pair ending up rolling left together. Also an early fade like she needs to go back to 5f. Back to SWEL to re-find 'form'?
