SUMMARY
GF from G on Decs. CoC quote = "Rail dolled out 4 yards on Friday on Round Course from 1m to winning post, adding 8 yards to race distances.".

Stiff to Strong SSW Wind = 1/2 Headwind from the Left in the HS.

Cahill's Breeze Video likeable overall. A low slung and bulky one with some length. Seems to use his range fine and a galloper overall and 7f FTO looks right. Starts the Breeze going straight then runs diagonally left from Centre track to Stands Side and when finally corrected by the rider he runs diagonally right to the Far Side and lean right as he does it. If the hanging is sorted out then fine for a 70+ smaller medium galloper.

More Typical 7f Maiden here than the last meeting in terms of Race Shape. If leaders get a soft time in front here, with the rest of the field lined out over a long distance around the bend, then it is very difficult to run them down. Halfway to Final positions here suggest a race where it was had to make ground and the First 2 through halfway perhaps going a little too hard and stating to fold back through the field by the finish. Hughes on Tom Hark seeming to stretch the lead a bit too much in front & Mistamel following him and 4L back to Mustadeem at Hf.

Mustadeem looking like a 90+ type LTO pulling lcear with a readier type over 6.5f. Made the job of overhauling THark look comfortable enough and opening up a 2L break 1f out HnH when finally asked for an effort. Most notable point is he looked more knowing and professional here. Presume he will be up to Group level NTO and seems a good prospect.

Darshini a medium and well made one in the field. But, a bigger one for a Sir Percy and still with the together set-uo and ok athleticism. A good debut by Stoute standars and should be 80+.

Tom Hark had the advantage of an Easy Lead but with Hughes waiting until 2f out in the HS to ask for any effort a fair bit of closing up to him cheaply in the CZ. Looking a bit green when head by Mustadeem 2f out and taking time to get goig. Seemed to find a better stride int he last 1f for a period and might have hung on for 2nd if Hughes hadn't packed it in early. 75+ and can he develop futher?

Silver Quay obviously a better type than a 33/1 here would suggest. Seems to be a slow learner and perhaps lazy at home. But, should be 80+ on size and bulk. Made ok Progress in the CZ but then got unbalanced out wide in the last 2F when asked to pick up and lost ground and places. Finally got himself organised in the last 0.5f+ and staying on ok. Should stay further on this but still with things to fix. Also good to see Dobbs using that late race forward move to get past New Brunswick on the line after that one had cruised past him while SQ rolling around. Buick on NB had got into 'Hughes' mode and thought he would just ride NB enough to get to a quiet 4th then ease. Dobbs riding past him and more power to any jk who ignores the 'rules' about having to stay behind jks who have already eased late in a race. Ride for the WHOLE race, why don't you.

New Brunswick one of those 'difficult' smaller Sharmardal's if you like bigger horse. Just a smaller one in this field but seemd to show solid promise in being held miles back and then making a good move in the penultimate 1f. Could have been a clear 4th ridden out. Definite 75+ promise but then mental conflict over whether the move was a lot better than that compared to reaction to his frame.

Mistamel a medium one in the field but another 2yo for the trainer who regresses STO (high up in that list). With 5-6f horses the regression often linked to free running and Mistamel a bit sweaty here and a bit free early. But, looked to be left behind by better ones here and a problem seemed to show up in that he has an ugly action in front and looking 'painful' to watch compared to straight moving Mustadeem going by him.Early Stall & Fade and a niggle over the action now.

Cahill a solid looking 75 one and went through the race quietly but well while being a bit green and not asked for too much. Seems ok to aim at a less strong maiden.
The way Dettori is riding 2yos on FTO at present he would have got Frankel beaten on debut. Since Frankel only won by a neck FTO from Group 1 level Nathaniel then Dettori might have got him beaten by 3-4L. Althon NPIR and the horse made his own mild effot 2f out unasked by the jk. Presume a sub 75 one on size and this just a run to get going.

The Way You Dance a cheap but and still trainer owned. Green at times in the race but enough size to be 70+ and better than his billing and form.

Thewaythwindblows too green in the race to get involved and the losing ground and early fade in the HS neutralising any positive PRev thoughts. Check again NTO.
