SUMMARY

G as on Decs & quote says that in agreement with the BHA the meeting would have to start on Going no faster than Good. 6-8mm Watering Wed & 4-6mm Thu.

Note - WWCK currently on a self imposed ban from using the Round Course and the 'dangerous' bend int the HS. 4 meetings transferred to other course and this one of the meetings they have 'saved' by only running 5-6f events out of the Chute. The bend from the Chute also criticised on the day later races were abandoned. Presume they have done some remedial work in the interim?

Stiff+ SSW Wind = 1/2+ Tailwind fom the Right in the HS.

Auld Fyffee's Breeze Video not as Bad as 8k. Looks a reasonable size in the gather if shallow bodied and leggy. Cut to the longer shot as the Breeze starts and looks less good and a gawky neck misplaced on a low slung weak body and each leg doing something different for the first 1f. Gets a bit organised in the 2nd 1f. Suspect he looks a peculiar Bits & Pieces set-up in PRev.

Caigemdar's Breeze not looking £44,000's worth in abiolute terms and another inflated one? Looks plain small in the Video if solidly built. Young mentally and looks laboured in the 1st 1f gradually drifting left and then sinks right in the 2nd 1f. Not really looking like the zippy sprinter she can only be if the size is judged correctly.

Just an average pace but conditions seemed a bit more testing than 'Good' sounds. Race played out more like a Dirt/Fibresand one with the front of the race pulling further away as the others came more under pressure and fading earlier rather than there being any 'Closers'. That effect part caused by the usual Maiden race split of competent ones & triers in the front half of the race from early on and the small, green & strangled ones happy to be behind & get further behind by lack of ability, nous, etc. Barely into 70s at front of race athe finish.

Field only gradually drifting over towards Centre to Stands Side in the HS with Mary McPhee challenging widest & never past Centre track. Looking either green or needing her mind made up in the penultimate 1f and several whip strikes before she got going. Aevalon running too free in previous outings and narrow bodied but with some size. Buried away in midfield here and seemed to mostly settle. But, with that exuberance contaied she looked lethargic and laboured when asked for an effort in the last 2f. An early fade as if not staying or something not right physically.
