SUMMARY
GF as on Decs. Watering but no Details given. Stalls Centre & CoC notes that only the middle of the course has been Vertidrained since the last meeting.

Very Strong NW Wind = Half Tailwind from the Right in the HS.

Inclined to view the race as Loumarin looking wired-to-the-moon for a Peak NOW effort beating Somedaysrdiamonds in a 'Match' which is believable. Faster time but carrying lower weight on conrete with a notably strong part Tailwind. Loumarin looking small and narrow and sweaty here, Took off after 0.5f which get her a headstart hard to get back int hese conditions. Running eyeballs out until fading late and handling (or not registering the going in her mental state) the firm gound. Hard to believe she is more than a 50s trier in real terms. Trainer Mead has got two 'Peak' effort wins with small fillies and interesting to know what he does to Peak and how the fillies run subsequently. Can he sustain form with them or is he hothousing them into wins for the positive publicity he needs.

Somedaysrdiamonds small & short but a bulkier than Loumarin and ran ok and unable to get the headstart back but held the gap until fading a little earlier. Another non interesting one for the future.

Low quality og Loumarin in PRev meant the two males on top of the Prfs despite unproven form. Rockaroundtheclock looked like he was in the wrong race here. Showed a knee action and never moving properly forward after a first 1f effort. A bit head up & hesitant and showing a slightly splayed and heavy action in front. Staying on a bit into the last 1f but looked like he either faded int he last 0.5f or just plain stopped because his front legs were saying STOP. Needs easier going & perhaps 6f. Poor run here left the two fillies in a match. At this point to put Loumarin into context worth imagining what an OR70s horse like Indescribable might have gone against her here given he ran 0.91s slower than her time here carrying 11lbs more in slower overall conditions and while running all across the track.

Trainer D'Arcy capable of preparing one fully for debut and Ryan Moore riding here, But Spring Loaded a smaller Medium one and a bit narrow. Mentally unready and perhaps not enjoying the ground. Some combination of those factors saw him get adrift after Halfway and some mild reponse 1f out to show he could move forward but then Moore eased him into the last 0.5f. Can do better being less green but given his lack of substance might have struggled to give a 'Hyper & Loose-in-the-lead' Loumarin the weight anyway.
