F as on Decs. GStick 11.5 on Tue and an updated Figure never published. As John Berry has said it was probably too frightening to make public. Cotai Glory described at 'talented' by his trainer but also quirky & wayward. Led TP here as he had been at RASCT. Giving jk Baker trouble nearing the stalls & spinning around and going off in different directions. Settled better in the lead here but looking a bit frazzled & sweaty and clearly still not a relaxed & professional racehorse. Jk Baker interviewed afterwards and said CG was ok once you got going on him but it was a problem to get CG to do what you wanted him to without getting into a fight. Biting Bullets very fit and ready but not looking fully comfortable on the ground and just an ok effort into the last 2f. Should be 70+. Bouncing Czech the first 2yo runner of season for trainer Perrett a bit later than typical. A stable in decline fo the last 5-8 years and only 11 & 12 juvenile runners last 2 seasons. Strike Rate well below average mostly in that decline. Does front load the usable ones and gets a FTO win in most seasons (only 3 blanks in the last 15 seasons) and they can be at any SP. BCzech a medium and IP one in this group with some depth. Mid to late 60s? A bit green here but a effort 2f out and have to presume he didn't handle the going and too gree? |
