GF from G on Decs. Fast Time but Fast Conditions and not an all-out race. Field raced Centre to Past Halfway then drifted RH in last 2f+ with Fuwairt ending up running the Far Rail. Enough Pace int he race to sor the field correctly by ability at the line. Accipiter a touch shorter than LLife running alongside her in the Leading Pair. But bulkier and more powerful. Also a straight mover and a professional attitude. Which meant she produced her solid forward effort and then had enough to turn Fuwairt back int he last 1f. Solid 80s type. Fuwairt looking sweaty AP and a bit fretful or wired in the race. Not as calm and professional as Accipiter for example. Hauled back by Dettori at the break then took a bit of time to get going having literally obeyed the jks instruction. As an aside Dettori seems to have turned into a mix of Spencer and Fallon. Haul everything out of the race, or at least set them a very tough task, then ease very early like you are too important to follow rules (& perhaps the connections wishes) to ride horses out fully. Dont give up the Day Job as a media person Frankie if this the standard you are going to set. Fuwairt allowed to make a bit of ground in the CZ and a good effort by him to overlap Accipiter into the last 1f but then stalling & fading early. 80s ability but needs to settle down and grow up. Oh, and better if Hughes or Dobbs rode. London Life a trier but clearly narrower bodied and less powerful than the first two. A comfortable time in the lead but unable to match the first two's efforts. Mid 70s and needs an easier task to compete to win. Sunny York probably a similar size to LLife & poss a little better built. Ran below her best here and running with an upright front from the start and not reaching out in front. This didn't change when asked for her final effort in the last 2f and the jk got busy with the whip around 1f out. The upright front could be read as Head Up and unwilling but prob more to do with not stretching out on the ground over the barrels. Charlie's Star back from a long break and not grown at and the smallest & most compact of the front 5. Left behind in the last 2f and overpowered. Evans will presumably get her very fit but the lack of scope means she will prob be on much too high an OR for Nurseries. End up OR60s by season close? |
