GF as on Decs. No rain since 9mm Mon. 4mm Watering Thu. Pace too strong with a pressing front line of 4 and most running too free. Ventura Shadow & Mb>Stanghow 2-3L back of the pace through halfway and sttled. Leading line breaking up before 1F out and a good effort by Pres Rapide to travel strongest of the Leading line and only caught by the Closers late on. Stanghow a too free short-runner before and sweaty AP here. A slow start here by design and a bit free early but able to run settled after 1f+ because of the pressure of the leading 4. Stanghow still short-running a bit though. . Dominic Cork a strong and deep compact sprinter. Perhaps too heavy & compact at present. Has the power to be competitive OR70+ if his set-up 'works' (not proven yet). Running much too free here and jk unable to fully hold him. But stalled and fading by 1f out and a short runner even if a bit more settled. More potential than he has shown but a solid amount of development needed. Alderaan in the MPR 1st colours but a longer SP. Has run much too free here after a poor run when never got going. Another poor run here and seemed uncomfortable in the FT blinkers. Moving awkwardly before 2f gone and a very early fade. |
