Firm as on Decs. 4mm Rain Sat & 2mm overnight. A weak Nursery and Dittander giving weight away but not looking much different in PRev to the other fillies & less bulk than Multi Quest. Dittander winning off 75 here because of moderate to poor oppostion and a low level effort in the last 2f although traveling best overall. Look back to her debut win and those behind a similar bunch to the others here including small fillies and leaking into the 60s at best. an 'unbeaten dual winner' oversells Dittander by some way and hard to see her being competitive in an average Nursery NTO. Multi Quest getting a soft time in the lead and running to 50s but not full 58. River Spirit a bit high on 65 but ran better than the final reuslt here. Carved up on the rail by MQ 0.5f from the finish or might have finished with Dittander & MQ on the line. 58/54 too high for what Surrey Pink & Hell For Leather have achieved and both running poorly here but looking small & overpowered by RS & MQ. . Diminutive presumably claimed from her seller win LTO and first ever 2yo runner for a new trainer. Poor effort & possibly not letting herself down on the Firm ground. But, not a good start for the new trainer given a filly running competently and willingly for Osborne up to now looked different and less competitive, and perhaps willing, here. |
