SUMMARY
GF as on Decs. 4mm Watering Tue. Stalls Far Side.

Medium Tailwind.

Fast Time but Fast Conds with a rare Tailwind on Fast Ground. This race 0.13s slower than the earlier FIllies' Nursery with Osaila carrying 9lbs less than the OR74 winner of that race. Which means this cannot be strong form in absolute terms even though the Nursery winner is OR80s and better judging this race on the final efforts and relative sizes.

Surewecan allowed to set a Sloer Pace and the biggest of the four males. Upped the pace towards 2f out and responded to Osaila's challenge 1.5f out but left behind by her to 1f out but well clear of the others. Presume he is OR80s and above medium size but just average buld.

Osaila ought to have won this comfortably whatever given she was receiving 12lbs from 3 of the males and 9lbs from Commander Patten. Given the relative times & weights around a 10lbs lesser effort by Osaila than the Nursery winner. But a Slower Pace here and Osaila winning with some comfort although mostly ridden out. Would prefer to look at her relative size and as big a frame as Surewecan and more heavily built. Looking strong build here and as if the weight hasn't consolidated into hard muscle yet. Looking like she can still improve through the season and promising in that way.

Geordie George hasn't looked a 'fast' horse in previous runs and more of a stayer and left behind by leading two in a fats conds 2f sprint here. About what would be expected from an OR70s one who might need 7f.

Poor efforts from Billyoakes & Commander Patten & mild excuses in that they race a touch freely behind the Slower Pace but not enough to explain the low Ratings. Both running with their Heads to the right and Hanging Left in the penultimate 1f as if the ground might be a bit firm. Commander Patten a bit sweaty overall but looking smaller & lesser build than Surewecan. CP apparently has an OR of 90 at present which he has never run anywhere near in his previous runs. Is the 90 a result of finishing too far forward in Race 127 (NMKJ Maiden) which has produced a good number of winners incl the Chesham Stakes victor? CP getting an easy time up front in that race and his final position shouldn't be read literally (but has been?).

Billyoakes the smallest in the field (again for Channon) and has OR81 which again seems too high and 72-6 range more feasible. SP of 40/1 suggests no-one else think he is and improving OR81 type. Back from a break here but running in Novices being used by Channon toi try to inflate his OR further before a HiT palm off? Or can Channon get him running anywhere near a real 81?
