SUMMARY
GF by Race Time. G from GS on Decs. 3mm Rain Overnight.

Field raced Far Rail. Hard Race to get a handle on with Halfway to Final Positions. A slower Pace to halfway and the 1st & 2nd at the line the same as at Halfway might suggest a slow race with a short sprint tacked on the end. But, if that was the case why have a lot of the 3rd+ fillies through Halfway within 2-3L of the leader ended up well back and fading early? Why is there a Gap back from the 1st 2 at the line and the 3rd-4th Deeper Closers well off the Pace at Halfway?

Inclined to the view that Efflorescence is a very good one and was winding the Pace up before 3F out, That dragged those closer up at Halfway to have to make early efforts as Efflorescence put on the pressure. The early start to Final Efforts meaning a lot of fading in the last 1f although some and the only Closers coming from well back. Efflorescence standing out in VRev as the Tallest and solidly built. Looking Mature Physically & Mentally mostly ready. Seemed to put the whole race under pressue between 3f out to 2f out just by going her Oen Pace. Had pulled herself clear of the main Group by 2f out (only Good Place giving meaningful chase) and then able to make a solid effort 2F out. A bit unbalanced on the Uphill and a bit green late but presume 90+ and ok for Group race STO but note how the Appleby 2yos have a poor record after STO.

Good Place not as Tall as Efflorescence nor as sttraight a mover but Deep and probably bulkier. Looking a bigger one in the field and moving comfortably at 3f and able to pull Clear of the rest from 3f to 2F out and make a similar effort to Efflorescence. 85+ and scope to develop.

Vesnina a Slow STart and last early but recoveing comfortably to the Slower early pace. Looking just a neat Smaller medium one bu a straight mover and a full trier. Travelling 3rd best inside 3F out and able to make an ok effort in Centre Track to 2f out. Looking sub-75 on size but any effect of chasing two biggers ones in VRev? On the way she travelled and the effort she made she ought ot be ok for 75+.

Star Of Spring a slow start then hauled back further early on as she hinted at running too freely. With the slow pace the jk then allowed her to make progress to be less than 3L off the lead at Halfway. Niggled to 3f out as the Pace increased but responded and travelling fine to 2.5f out. But, not much happened when asked for an effort and just a low level plug on and an earlyish fade. Still looking a solid size in the Group but not delivering the effor the travelling suggested. Issue? Race 214 over-rated in PRev?

All Rounder also looking good in race 214 and not showing that promise here. AR looking an 8f+ grinder perhaps on debut. Looking a lot shorter here than expected in this Group if a solid barrel. A hopeful favourite given her relative size to the bigger Godolphin pair. But, like Star Of Spring, travelling ok 3f out but then just a minor effort inside 3f out before an early fold. Even if both were over-rated from Race 214 they aren't as Bad as the runs here suggest. AR ought still to be 75+.

Decibelle a useful runner to compare to SoS and AR and running close to those two. Smaller than SoS overall but able to make a better effort inside 3f out despite having run too free. Overhauled by SoS only as that one plugged on and Decibelle starting an early fade. Decibelle a similar shorter and low slung one to AR but less strongly built. But Decibelle leaving AR behind as the hard work started in the last 3f.

Todegica a medium sized one in the Group and ran ok for 2f, Then going backwards in stages and looking a bit pottery or ill around Halfway and juts no energy there. Eased early. and WTRB made. What was the issue?
