GFG from GGF on Decs. Selective Watering of betwwen 3mm to 7mm on Thu. 2mm of Fri am up to 11:00am. CoC quotr wrt Rails = "There is a false rail in place, approximately 15 feet out from the permanent inside rail. This rails add approximately 12yds to the distance of all races.". Slower pace and difficult for any beyond 4th at Halfway to get into the race given the pace and the gap that devloped back from 4th. George Dryden going like the best horse and a solid effort in the last 1F+ when finally let go. Niggle that he may not have had much to beat with only Caprior Bere able to, or asked to by the jk, make a challenge. Summer Stroll getting into a good prominent spot on the 3TO run and every chance to give it a real go and see what SStrol was capable of. The joskey clearly wnated no part of that and having got SS into a prominent postion then sat quiet as the race went away from her 2f out. Horse raised an effort itself inside 1.5f out with the jk doing a bit of acting. Jk put a stop to that having got to 3rd and eased her. Looked like a real '3TO Ride' and wait for the nursery. Smaller than the first two and perhaps lacking pace 2f out but impossible to judge that with the way the jk rode. |
