GSG by Race Time. GFF from GFG Decs in Early am but 3mm of Rain Overnight and More Showers expected. Inner HS in Use & Race Distance is 7f 1yd. Mixed story with Amazour's Breeze Video. Probably a smaller one but a strong IP barrel and ok Power, But, doesn't move well in the breeze. Shortish reach in front and on the scuttly side. Never well balanced and breaks dow more as he gets tired. A hint that the movement may be partly because he is trying to hard and green but would want to see him move better FTO. Salateen & Medrano drawn in the widest two stalls but with the 8 inside them either slow away or held up they were able to jog to be the Leading Pair to the bend and have the race between them unhassled by the others. Jk on Salateen starting the final efforts off soon inside the final 3f, Extended duel between the two with Salateen still a neck up late on but fading on the line. Salateen a typical Ryan medium and bulky shape. Straight mover and trier and ok 75. Medrano a notably straight mover and a bit taller and a bit more range than Salateen if less bulky. Fine for 75+. Lord Ben Stack a notably Big one in the field and moving ok given that. Lacking Pace at 3f out as the pace upped by the experienced runners. But, sticking at it and plugging on in the last 2f back to some smaller ones (like HN) who had left him 3f out). Seems an 8f+ types and able to keep up here for a lot of the time juts on relative size and still needs to develop. Conversely, Here Now a smaller Godophin one they bred themselves to add to those they buy. Able to respond at 3f out to the pace but then getting worn down and fading in the last 1f. LBS much more interesting. Critical Risk niggled along at times before halfway and losing ground as the Pace upped. Well back into the last 1f and seemed likely he would be eased or Fade. Jk must have felt some reponse and got the Whip out and staying on again in the last 0.5f to be in a Photo for 4th. Seemed to Handle Softer going FTO but something not right here until the late low level rally. |
