SUMMARY
 GF from G on Decs with 3mm Rain Fri & 3mm overnight. Got to GF for Fri evening Meeting.

Jellwa palmed off, err.. sold on to an important owner for Channon in his "Me, My Mates & the Maktoums' model. Which would circumstantially suggest she had been showing up ok in the (not strongly organised?) gallop works. The last Work Video on the Channon website is from July 15th when Jellwa works with 3 other 2yo fillies plus a lead horse. The other 3 juveniles are Malabar (ran ok a RASCT & presumably one of Channon's better fillies), El Che (placed FTO but beaten STO & a smallish one) plus the unraced Razeen. Jellwa going comfortably and work looks designed to let Jellwa & Malabar go on clear together late in the work. Jellwa does this looking at least as comfortable as Malabar.

Thunderinmyheart noted going well in 2 x previous Bell Work Videos incl against dual winner Savoy Showgirl. Last Video from July 12th in a pair with the unraced Chasing Rubies and work set up to allow TIMH to go clear late which she does comfortably. But, not much bigger (?) than Chasing Rubies whom Bell positioned as an early 'not over big' 5f type in 214. Why the A5 on debut? Work Vids misleading or let the A5 ride her on a quiet debut then a senior jk on STO peak?



Stalls across full width of course. Slow pace and field drifted across to Race from the Centre Line to the Far Rail. Lady Mascot Leading in Centre track & Multi Grain leading a Far Rail Group. With the Centre Group moving on a bit and the pace slow Fallon took the good decision to work over from the Far Rail to join the Leader in Centre Track by around Halfway.

Colours Of Glory looking perhaps just a medium size in this Group and lighter behind. A slow start here and then not knowing what to do after Halfway as the pace upped a bit and an early ease would be the kind way of describing her performance. A more realistic one would probably be to question her attitude. A slow start from a stall very close to the low level camera abd last soon after the break. Jk Durcan seems to be half expecting this and gets busy pushing hard and CG gets going but flashing the tail. Able to get onto the back of the group with the slow pace but Durcan back niggling away after 3f. This gets more urgent around halfway with a moderate response. CG then starts hanging left into the last 3f and not going forward much. Adrift by 2F out so the jk eases her early having thought about using the whip before 2f out but never did and presumably remembered not to use it. CG giving the impression she would just have used one of repertoire of unhelpful traits if the whip used (perhaps running sideways). Looked at least as much attitude as greenery.
