GSG by Race Time. GS from GFG on Decs. Stals Far Side & Rail in by 8m. Average Pace at most along the Far Rail. First two home pulling clear of the others perhaps a 75/25 split between deficiencies of the other 3 and solid ability themselves. Prince Of Time a Medium one and neat and getting a soft lead in theory. But, never settled properly in front. Even so, a moderate effort 2f out and an early fade. 5f? Prob 70 but need to check size. Some part of Glenalmond's sales price to do with the quality the dam has already produced. Mostly professional here but just a medium size (effect not helped by a smaller head?), But, went smoothly through the race and responded well to the late challenge. Medium one that gets 80+ on the 'engine'? My Dream Boat finding trouble in a 5 horses race and not racing as professionally as Glenalmond. Niggled to get full going then pulling himself into a pocket. Which mean MDB had to go back to last and switch out wide to make his final effort. Fortunately the jk on Glenalmond was sitting still waiting to make an effort and effectively waited for MDB to arrive aleady in full final effort mode. Solid effort to go clear and 70+ but fading late. Biggest in the field?, certainly the biggest head/neck. Spirit Of The Sea only able to make a low level effort in the last 2f and a bit Head Up & unbalanced doing it. Prob the smallest in the field. Disushe Star running too freely and an early fade so hard to judge. |
