SUMMARY
GF as on Decs. Watering but no details given. Rail Out by 2ys on the Bend & HS = what extra distance?

Chances Are by second season Sire Dandy Man who had a very good FS. 4 winners from 11 runners so far in 2014 but lacking the better quality of his FS. CA a mixed story in his breeze video. Not the classic compact and deep body of the sire and a touch more length and shallower body. Also, probably a smaller one and weakish neck, But, on the plus side, looks an uncomplicated ride and a straight mover in the breeze. Making the most of what he has. Not a full fast action and a bit of range.

Signoret sold at the Osarus Breeze sale at Pornichet in NW France. MPR Blurb includes = "This recruit to the Middleham Park Racing and Richard Fahey team was bought from the Osarus sale at Pornichet in May 2014. Nick selected this sale deliberately as one to buy from as it had produced good racehorses in previous years and is a sale which is not attended by the bloodstock agents of the high spending owners which allow us to select the best horses in the sale, rather than having to find the horses which they miss. We have recruited some high class 2yo fillies for 2014 and this filly is no exception. She was the stand out lot at the sale in terms of the combination of physical specimen and pedigree. She is stunning strong robust horse who really does look the part, she has four white socks and is as good a walker as you will. She is not a small filly and is the type to start over 6 or 7 furlongs and then progress with time and into her 3yo career. Her breeze was gun barrel straight and was in one of the top 10 times on the day from 80 horse which breezed. Her professionalism really did make her stand out in her breeze and they way she breezed did make her a prime target in the subsequent sale.".

Hard to then judge the video with the MPR sales pitch in mind. Takes place on a flat track with an artifical surface and a short HS. She runs straight but having watched a lot of the turf videos from NMKT/DONC then a Synthethic surface is far superior in presenting a consistent surface and giving the young horses a chance to show their ability. Signoret seems to have a relatively short action and quite quick and odd to she was among the top 10 times when she doesn't 'look' fast in the breeze. Perhaps a good thing? Or a thin sale?

Unusual Shape of the field with Teruntum Star allowed an easy lead on the rail. The next 4 through halfway then in a widespread 2R as, from Rail Out, Signoret, IWish, Chances Are & Crystal Wish running oddly wide (why). The other 3 adrift from early and driven along by Halfway.

Teruntum Star an unconvincing effort as a 1/4f and not cruising away as the SP might suggests. A comfortable win and hanging left and a bit green (possibly) late on but not appearing to finish the race off strongly. A solid 75+ one winning against newcomers rather than a high class one overpowering solidly credentialled opposition. Why so short?

Chances Are not looking like a real 5f one in size here. A bit narrower and in line with the Breeze comments. But, still uncomplicated and making a competent effort in the HS. Seemed to be staying on again late. Up to 6f? Seems a bit on the 'neat' side and will he get to 70?

Signoret taller than CA and a bit leggy and a touch narrow. Not a classic sprinter. A bit green at times but made the second best effort in the HS until fading into the last 0.5f. 70 if is she doesn't go light?

Crystal Wish of some interest because, given the 2nd & 3rd not bulky sprint shapes, she looked a slightly bigger one in context of the placed horses. More bulk than Signoret & CA. Ran too free over 6f FTO and ended moving poorly then getting unbalanced late on STO. Similar here and a bit free to halfway and ended racing wide in Centre track alone. A moderate effort inside the last 2f and again not looking balanced or moving well. But, now can go to nurseries and, although a risk given the movement niggles, should have more bulk than her OR will cover.
